I owe you some answers... so here they come! Here are the answers to last Monday's first set of Cisco CCNA and CCNP practice questions!

CCNA:

What is the major advantage of Frame Relay over ISDN?

A. Ease of configuration

B. Less overhead on the router

Answer: C. Frame is much cheaper to use than ISDN due to its shared bandwidth.


CCNP / BSCI:

A BGP route reflector receives a routing update from a client. To whom will the RR "reflect" this route?

A. All RR clients only.

B. All RR clients and nonclients.

C. All nonclients only.

D. No one - route reflectors do not reflect routes received from clients.

Answer: B. The RR will reflect routes from a client to clients and nonclients alike.


CCNP / BCMSN:

Identify the true statements.

A. Jitter is a problem primarily with voice and video traffic.

B. Jitter is a problem primarily with data streams.

C. Jitter is caused by delays in the queue.

D. Jitter is a reason to configure QoS.

E. Jitter is a problem, but configuring QoS is not an appropriate solution.

Answers: A, C, D.


CCNP / BCRAN:

Identify the true statements regarding RADIUS.

A. Only the password in the initial client-server packet is encrypted.

B. The entire initial client-server packet is encrypted.

C. RADIUS combines Authentication and Authorization.

D. RADIUS considers Authentication and Authorization to be separate processes.
