Hello again! Here are the answers to Sunday night's Cisco CCNA and CCNP practice questions!

CCNA:

Your client calls you in the middle of the night and tells you that he's reloaded a router and now cannot get into enable mode because he has forgotten the password. He insists you perform the process. What is your first move?

A. Drive to the router's physical location.

B. Telnet to the router and reload it.

C. Telnet to the router, reload, and send a BREAK signal during the reload.

D. Telnet to the router, change the config register, and reload.

Answer: A. Start driving - you've got to be physically present at the device to perform password recovery - it cannot be done through a Telnet connection.

CCNP / BSCI:

Answer: 1785.

CCNP / BCMSN:

A. There are four predefined queues.

B. There are 16 predefined queues.

C. The queue packet limits cannot be changed.

D. The queue packet limits can be changed.

E. PQ uses round-robin service to avoid packet starvation.

F. With PQ, packet starvation is a concern.

Answer: A, D, F. Priority Queueing has four queues (High, Medium, Normal, Low); the default packet limits can be changed; packet starvation is a potential issue, since packets in the High queue are always given priority over all others.

CCNP / CIT:
