Answers: C, D. The number in the router ospf command is a process number, not an AS number.


CCNP / BCSI:

A BGP route reflector receives a routing update from a client. To whom will the RR send this update?

A. All RR clients and nonclients.

B. All RR clients.

C. All nonclients only.

D. The RR will not forward this update at all.

Answer: A. When an RR receives a routing update from an RR client, that RR will send that update to all RR clients and nonclients.


CCNP / BCMSN:

You want to connect two switches together to create a trunk. What kind of cable will you need?

A. DTE/DCE

B. straight-through

C. crossover

D. rollover

Answer: C. You have to use a crossover cable in this situation.


CCNP / BCRAN:

You've got a Cisco ACS server acting as a RADIUS server. Which of the following commands identifies that server to the router?

A. authentication server 172.1.1.1 permit ip

B. aaa lookup authentication 172.1.1.1

C. aaa new-model tacacs-server 172.1.1.1

Answer: D. The tacacs-server host command does this.


CCNP / CIT:

"show interface serial1" tells you that the interface is down, as is the line protocol. What's the most likely issue?

A. keepalive or clockrate issue

B. loose cable

C. interface is administratively shut down

D. misconfigured routing protocol

Answer: B. If the problem were a keepalive or clockrate issue, the interface would be up while the line protocol would be down. If the interface were administratively shut down, the physical interface would show as, well, administratively down!
