Answer: The term for this is "filtering".


CCNP / BSCI:

What routing protocol always requires an additional interface-level command on any interface that's going to run this protocol? And what is that command?

Answer: ISIS requires this, and the interface-level command is ip router isis.

CCNP / BCMSN:

List the three layers of the Cisco switching model, along with a brief description of each layer.

Answer: From the inside out, we have the core layer, which handles the bulk of the switching workload; the intermediate level is the distribution layer, and the layer that allows end users to interact with the network is the access layer.

CCNP / BCRAN:
