Answer: A. Static host routes (routes that match only one destination) are coded the same as any other non-default static route - with the letter S.

CCNP / BSCI:

The full unabbreviated command that enables IPv6 traffic forwarding on a Cisco router is.. what? Short answer, no choices given!

Answer: The full command is ipv6 unicast-routing.


CCNP / BCMSN:

What VTP advertisement is sent by the VTP server only upon a change in the VLAN database?

A. summary

B. subset

C. client advertisement

D. master

Answer: B. Subset advertisements are sent only when there's a change in the VLAN database.


CCNP / BCRAN:

Identify the true statements regarding RED.

A. Congestion is detected early.

B. Congestion is detected only when the queue is full.

C. CoS and IP Precedence values identify the first packets to be dropped.

D. CoS and IP Precedence values are not considered by RED.

Answer: A, D. Random Early Detection (RED) does indeed detect congestion early, but the dropping of traffic is just that - random. WRED can consider those values before dropping traffic, though.
