CCNA Certification:

Answer: The switch will flood the frame - in other words, the switch will send the frame out every single interface except the one it came in on.


CCNP Certification / BSCI Exam:

Cisco OSPF design guidelines state that a router should be in no more than how many areas?

Answer: Cisco OSPF design guidelines suggest a router have interfaces in no more than three areas.



CCNP Certification / BCMSN Exam:

A switch's priority is at its default setting, and it has a MAC address of aa-aa-aa-aa-aa-aa. What is this switch's BID in the root bridge election?

Answer: 32768:aa-aa-aa-aa-aa-aa.



CCNP Certification / ISCW Exam:

Name and briefly describe the three layers of SONA.

Answers: The network infrastructure includes all of the devices you'd expect it to (servers, WAN equipment, etc.) along with the end users themselves.

Integrated services are those services delivered by the network infrastructure, including data storage and network management.

Finally, the application layer of SONA includes all of the applications that use the integrated services.


CCNP Certification / ONT Exam:

What term refers to the point in the network where a given packet is marked?

Answer: That's the trust boundary.
