CCNA And CCENT Certification:
You're running debug ip packet and notice a series of packets destined for 224.0.0.9. What kind of packets are these?
Answer: Those would be RIPv2 packets.
CCNP Certification / BSCI Exam:
What is the seed metric of a route redistributed into OSPF?
Answer: The default seed metric is 20.
CCNP Certification / BCMSN Exam:
What kind of BPDUs does "BPDU Guard" guard against? What action is taken by the switch when such a BPDU is received?
Answer: BPDU Guard guards against any BPDU - if one is received on a port running this feature, the port is put into err-disabled state.
CCNP Certification / ISCW Exam & CCNA Security:
You've written an AAA method list that references both a TACACS+ server and a RADIUS server. Which will be used first by the AAA Authentication process? Under what circumstances will the other method be used, if any?
Answer: The order in which you list the servers determines the order in which they're used for authentication. If the first server type listed times out or returns an error, the second server type is checked. (If the first server type returns a failed authentication, the second server type is not checked.)
