CCNA And CCENT Certification:

What keystroke terminates an in-progress ping or traceroute?

Answer: Ctrl-C. The IOS mentions that there is an abort sequence, but doesn't tell you what it is!



CCNP Certification / BSCI Exam:

Name the four ISIS PDU types.

Answer:

Hellos
Link State Packet
Partial Sequence Number PDU (PSNP)
Complete Sequence Number PDU (CSNP)



CCNP Certification / BCMSN Exam:

You're running dot1x-based authentication on a host and Cisco switch. What protocol traffic, if any, will be accepted by the switch port prior to authentication?

Answer: Until the user is authenticated, only the following protocols can travel through the port:

EAPOL
STP
CDP



CCNP Certification / ISCW Exam & CCNA Security:

What is DAI, and what purpose does it serve?

Answer: Enabling Dynamic ARP Inspection (DAI) prevents man-in-the-middle attacks on a switch by building a database of trusted MAC-IP address mappings.


CCNP Certification / ONT Exam:

What headers are compressed by cRTP?

Answer: cRTP actually works at both L3 and L4 of the OSI model, since it will compress the 40-byte IP/RTP/UDP headers.
