Welcome back! It's Monday, July 21, and here are your Cisco certification training questions for today!

CCNA Wireless and Voice questions join the daily question posts on August 1!

CCNA Certification:

In the following show cdp output, which values have been changed from their default, if any?

Router1#show cdp
Global CDP information:
Sending CDP packets every 60 seconds
Sending a holdtime value of 180 seconds
Sending CDPv2 advertisements is enabled

Answer: None of the CDP defaults have been changed.

CCENT Certification:

Examine the following ip route command and identify the true statements.

R1(config)#ip route 30.0.0.0 255.0.0.0 ethernet1

A. The network route shown is invalid.

B. The network mask shown should be in wildcard mask form (0.0.0.255)

C. The ethernet1 interface indicated is on the local router.

D. The ethernet1 interface indicated is on the next-hop router.

E. This is a default static route.

Answers: C. The ip route command shown is valid, and the mask is shown in correct form. The specified interface is the local exit interface. This is not a default static route - such an ip route statement would have all zeroes for the network and the mask.

CCNA Security Certification / CCNP ISCW Exam:

Answer: You can run TCP interfcept in intercept or passive mode.

Answer: Use the following configuration to carry this task out. You don't have to specify VLAN 1, since you can't delete or block traffic on that specific VLAN to begin with.

switchport trunk allowed vlan 100,200

Answers: A, E. With traffic policing, you have the option of dropping packets or re-marking them. You can also police traffic as it enters or exits the router.
