CCNA Certification:
By default, how many paths does RIP use for unequal-cost load-sharing?
Answer: None. RIP does use four paths by default for equal-cost load-sharing, though.
CCNP Certification / BCSI Exam:
What command allows an OSPF ASBR to advertise a default route, even if it doesn't have one in its routing table?
Answer: default-information originate always. If you leave the always option off, the default route will be advertised by the ASBR only if one actually exists in the ASBR's routing table.
CCNP Certification / BCMSN Exam:
What is the net effect of the following command?
SW2(config-if)#switchport nonegotiate
Answer: This command makes the port an unconditional trunk port, and also prevents the transmission of Dynamic Trunking Protocol (DTP) packets.
