Welcome back! There's a lot going on around here this week, including the start of my exclusive Microsoft Vista certification tutorial series, the return of Network+ questions to the blog and website newsletter as well as ISCW questions, and much more - so let's get started with the answers to this past Saturday's CCNA and CCNP questions!
CCNA:
Short answer: By default, how many paths does RIPv2 use for both equal- and unequal-cost load sharing?
Answer: 4 for equal-cost load sharing, zero for unequal-cost load sharing.
CCNP / BSCI:
Short answer: What port does BGP use to create neighbor adjacencies?
Answer: That's TCP port 179. A good idea to keep that port unblocked by ACLs when you're running BGP!
CCNP / BCMSN:
Short answer: What command places a user connecting to a switch directly into privileged exec mode upon authentication? Where should this command be placed?
Answer: Run "privilege level 15" under the VTY lines.
See you later today with much, much more, including another set of Cisco certification practice questions!
