Time for an all-new CCENT and CCNA practice exam, Flash Card style! That means no multiple choice -- just like the Cisco IOS!
Join me for an all-new CCNA Radio show today on my YouTube channel!
1. Like every dynamic routing protocol, EIGRP uses an algorithm to determine the best routes. What's the full name of EIGRP's routing algorithm?
2. True or false (okay, technically those are choices!): As of 2014, EIGRP is considered Cisco-proprietary.
3. What's the technical term for EIGRP backup routes? Bonus: In which EIGRP tables can we find those?

And now... the answers!
1. EIGRP's routing algorithm is DUAL, the Diffusing Update Algorithm.
2. We used to only be able to run EIGRP on Cisco hardware, but as of 2014, EIGRP is vendor-independent and no longer Cisco-proprietary.
3. EIGRP's backup routes are feasible successors, and we'll find those in the EIGRP topology table.
Thanks for joining us today! I'll have that new CCNA Radio show for you later today, and a new practice exam on Tuesday! See you then!
