CCNA Certification And CCENT Certification:

Short answer: What is the binary equivalent of the hex value "ac"?

Answer: That hex value gives us 10 units of 16 (160) and 12 units of 1 (12), which is the decimal 172.

In turn, the decimal 172 in binary is 10101100.


CCNA Security Certification / CCNP ISCW Exam:

What component of the Cisco Security Agent is responsible for monitoring attempted changes to critical Unix files?

Answer: That's the Configuration Interceptor.


CCNP Certification / BSCI Exam:

What is the default setting for variance on an EIGRP-speaking router?

A. zero

B. one

C. five

D. There isn't one.

Answer: B. The default variance setting is one, which effectively results in default equal-cost load-balancing.



CCNP Certification / BCMSN Exam:

From what class does HSRP draw its default IP address for the virtual router?

A. Class A

B. Class B

C. Class C

D. Class D

E. There is no default IP address for HSRP's virtual router.

Answer: E. The virtual router does have a default MAC address, but not a default IP address.



CCNP / ONT Exam:

What encryption scheme does WPA2 use?

A. AES

B. RCA 4

C. TKIP

D. MIC

Answer: A.
