Answer: A, D, E, F. Whether a protocol uses broadcasts or multicasts, that "broadcast" option is necessary.



CCNA Security:

Briefly describe a "man-in-the-middle" attack and give two popular defenses against this security issue.

Answer: Basically, a MITM attack involves an intruder eavesdropping on a supposedly private conversation between two legitimate network hosts.

Defenses include strong authentication and mutual authentication.

What does the following OSPF route code indicate?

Answer: That code indicates a default inter-area route used to reach external destinations.




BCMSN Exam:

Of Integrated Services and DiffServ, which uses RSVP?

A. Both

Answer: D. Only IntServ uses RSVP.

ISCW Exam:

What Cisco-proprietary feature must be enabled before using MPLS on a Cisco router?

Answer: CEF - Cisco Express Forwarding.


ONT Exam:

Which of the following describes traffic shaping?

A. Does not support traffic marking

B. Can shape outgoing and incoming traffic

C. Generally results in fewer TCP retransmissions than traffic policing

Answer: A, C. B is false because traffic shaping is applied to outgoing traffic only.
