CCNA / CCENT Certification:

Which of the following protocols have "external" routes?

A. RIPv1

B. RIPv2

C. EIGRP

D. OSPF

Answer: C, D. Neither version of RIP has external routes, but both OSPF and EIGRP do. External routes are routes learned via route redistribution.


CCNA Security:

Short answer: What's the main difference between "stateful filtering" and "stateless filtering"?

Answer: Stateless filtering does not monitor the state of the TCP connection, and stateful filtering does.
