It's Wednesday, November 5, and here are your free Cisco certification exam training questions for today!

CCNA Voice questions return next week!

CCNA Certification And CCENT Certification:

Name three major differences between TCP and UDP.

While you're at it, name three common protocols that run on TCP, three that run on UDP, and one that runs on both. :)

Answer: TCP offers retransmissions of lost segments via sequence numbers, windowing capabilities, and has guaranteed delivery, none of which UDP offers.

Three common TCP protocols are FTP, SMTP, and HTTP. UDP protocols include TFTP, SNMP, and DHCP. DNS runs on both.
