It's Tuesday, November 18, and here are the answers to Monday's Cisco practice exam questions

CCNA Certification And CCENT Certification:

Answer. User exec level. To have the incoming users placed into privileged exec level upon a successful login, configure the privilege level 15 command on the VTY lines.

CCNA Security Certification / CCNP ISCW Exam:

What important purpose does the Diffie-Hellman algorithm play in VPN construction?

Answer: This algorithm allows the exchange of secure keys over a non-secure connection.

CCNP Certification / BSCI Exam:

The EIGRP Successor appears in which of the following tables?

A. Neighbor

B. Successor

C. Route

D. Topology

Answer: C, D. The Successor appears in both the EIGRP route and topology tables. There's no such thing as a Successor table.

CCNP Certification / BCMSN Exam:

What globally configured command will allow all host ports on a switch to go straight to forwarding mode from blocking mode?

Answer: This describes Portfast, and to put all the ports on the switch into Portfast mode, use the spanning portfast default command at the global configuration level.

CCNP / ONT Exam:

Which of the following is *not* configured in the Additional Tasks section of SDM?





Answers: C, D. Both DHCP and DNS are configured in Additional Tasks; IPS and VPN have their own task buttons.
