It's Tuesday, November 11, and it's time for the answers to yesterday's Cisco practice exam questions!

What protocol or service is shown running in the following debug? And by the way, what debug is running?

2d04h: Se1 CHAP: O RESPONSE id 222 len 23 from "R3"

Answer: That's CHAP, as we can tell from the three-way handshake shown in that example, and the debug is show ppp authentication or show ppp negotiation.


CCNA Security Certification / CCNP ISCW Exam:

What component of the Cisco Security Agent is responsible for monitoring attempts to make changes to the Windows Registry?

Answer: The Configuration Interceptor.



CCNP Certification / BSCI Exam:


Which of the following EIGRP packet types are considered "unreliable"?

A. DHCP

B. TCP

Answer: D, E. Hello and Ack packets are considered unreliable.



CCNP Certification / BCMSN Exam:

You want port fast 0/11 on your Cisco switch to belong unconditionally to VLAN 23. What two commands are required on the interface to make this happen?

Answer: You'll need to make the port an access port with switchport mode access, then place the port into VLAN 23 with the switchport access vlan 23 command.



CCNP / ONT Exam:


What is the major difference between the express and "regular" versions of WLSE as it relates to authentication?

Answer: The Express version has an internal AAA server; the Regular version does not.
