Here are the answers to this past Saturday's CCNA and CCNP training questions. The BCRAN and CIT exams are gone, so I'll be adding daily questions for the new exams over the next few weeks!



CCNA:

Short answer: Convert the decimal 2132 into a hex value.

Answer: There are eight units of 256 in 2132, leaving a remainder of 84.

There are five units of 16 in 84, leaving a remainder of 4.

There are four units of 1 in 4.

The hex equivalent of the decimal 2132 is 854.


CCNP / BSCI:

Short answer: What is the range of private BGP AS numbers?

Answer: 64512 - 65535.


CCNP / BCMSN:

What type(s) of frames pass through the tunnel built by the "l2 protocol-tunnel" command?

A. All IP frames

B. Network control frames

C. All data frames

D. All IP frames and network control frames

Answer: B. That tunnel is reserved for network control frames.
