Answer: A. Actually, the only topology that can support ODR is hub-and-spoke.


CCNP / BCMSN: Short answer: A switch's priority is at is default setting, and it has a MAC address of aa-aa-aa-aa-aa-aa. What is this switch's BID in the root bridge election?

Answer: 32768:aa-aa-aa-aa-aa-aa. The priority is the first part of the BID, with the MAC address following that.


CCNP / BCRAN: Which of the following settings indicates that congestion was encountered in the direction in which the frame was traveling?

A. FECN = 0

B. FECN = 1

C. BECN = 0

D. BECN = 1

Answer: B. If the FECN bit is set to "on", congestion was encountered in the direction in which the frame was traveling.


CCNP / CIT:

Which of the following can cause runt frames?

A. routing protocol misconfigurations

B. improper configuration of Portfast

C. improperly functioning NIC

D. collisions

Answers: C, D. Runt frames can be caused by malfunctioning network interface cards or by collisions.
