Here are the answers to yesterday's Cisco CCNA and CCNP certification exam training questions!

CCNA:

You want to configure unequal-cost load-sharing on your EIGRP router. What command will allow you to find the metric for the path you want to include in the routing table that is not currently there?

A. show ip eigrp route

B. show ip eigrp neighbor

C. show ip eigrp topology

D. show ip eigrp transactions

Answer: C. That's a long-winded way of asking you how you can find the metric of the Feasible Successor, and that's in the topology table.

CCNP / BCSI:

In what two OSPF network types are DRs and BDRs elected?

A. broadcast

B. non-broadcast

C. point-to-point

D. point-to-multipoint

Answers: A, B. Point-to-point and point-to-multipoint OSPF networks do not elect a DR or a BDR.

CCNP / BCMSN:

The phrases "guaranteed rate" and "reserved path" describe what QoS model?

A. DiffServ

B. FIFO

C. Integrated Services

D. Best-effort

E. Connection-oriented

Answer: C. Integrated Services uses RSVP to create reserved paths for high-priority traffic. This guarantees a certain rate of service for that traffic.

CCNP / BCRAN:

Short answer: What pin number belongs to the Ground pin, which is used to serve as a reference point for other signals?

Answer: The Ground pin, or GRD pin, is Pin 7.

CCNP / CIT: Short answer: The ping command tests which levels of the OSI model?

Answer: Ping tests layers 1 - 3.

See you later today with another set of Cisco certification questions, and some new articles and tutorials as well!
