Answer: The AD of ISIS is 115.


CCNP / BCMSN: What VTP advertisement is sent by the VTP server only upon a change in the VLAN database?

B. client advertisement

C. master

D. subset

Answer: D. Subset advertisements are sent by the VTP server only when there's a change in the VLAN database. This ad will contain the new name of the VLAN, the new MTU (if it's been changed), the VLAN type, and whether the VLAN was created, deleted, activated, or suspended.


CCNP / BCRAN:

Identify the true statements regarding ISDN.

A. There are more b-channels than d-channels.

B. There are more d-channels than b-channels.

C. The d-channels carry data.

D. The b-channels carry data.

E. The b-channels are responsible for call maintenance.

F. The d-channels are responsible for call maintenance.

Answers: A, D, F. Regardless of whether you're talking about BRI or PRI, there will be more b-channels than d-channels, the b-channels will always carry data, and the d-channel is responsible for the construction, maintenance, and teardown of the call.


CCNP / CIT: What troubleshooting model are you using if your first step is to examine the routing table?

A. top-down

B. down-top

C. divide-and-conquer

D. L3

Answer: C. The divide-and-conquer method is basically starting your troubleshooting somewhere besides the top or bottom of the OSI model.
