Answer: A, B. Routed protocols include IP, IPX, and AppleTalk (not a choice).


CCNP / BSCI:


Which of the following indicates a RIP route that was learned via redistribution?

E. None of the above.

Answer: D. Unlike EIGRP and OSPF, RIP has no special symbol to indicate a route learned via redistribution.


CCNP / BCMSN:

Which of the following will a VTP device running in Transparent mode do it if it's also running VTP Version 2?

A. Participate in the VTP domain

B. Advertise its VLAN database contents

C. Synchronize its VLAN database to match incoming advertisements

D. Forward VTP advertisements received on trunk ports

Answer: D. Transparent mode VTP switches don't have much to do with the rest of the network, but with VTP version 2, they will forward VTP advertisements received on trunk ports.


CCNP / BCRAN:

What pin is used by the DTE to send data to the DCE?
