CCNP / BSCI:

You want one of your IGRP routers to advertise a default route throughout the network. Which of the following is the best command to use to do this?

A. default-information originate

B. default-information originate always

C. ip default-gateway

D. ip default-network

E. redistribute static (after creating a default static route)

Answer: D. The only way to propagated default route in IGRP is with the ip default-network command. IGRP doesn't understand a route to 0.0.0.0, so the static default route is out. The default-information originate commands are OSPF commands, and ip default-gateway should be used only when IP routing is turned off.
